Elderly Woman Injured in Monday Afternoon Accident

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police and first responders were called out to an accident at East Kansas and 5th Avenue shortly before 4 Monday afternoon.  Upon arrival a mini-van appears to have rear-ended a pickup truck.  An elderly woman was injured and put on a stretcher.  No other information is available, but drivers are warned to take their time as officers direct traffic around the scene during rush hour.
