Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) This week Governor Brownback will unveil his final draft of the state’s 50 year vision for water. Its a plan that has been in the works for several years. Mark Rude is Executive Director of Groundwater Management District Three and cites a recent study from the Kansas Aqueduct Coalition on why it is so important to act now on protecting this important resource.
Rude stressed the importance of public-private partnerships in moving water around to those who are in greatest need.
