Darryn Graves, 33, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. 

He was born March 16, 1982 at O’Neill, Nebraska, the son of David and Laura (Worthen) Graves. He and his family moved from Grand Island, Nebraska to Dodge City in November of 1988. He was a graduate of Dodge City High School and attended Kansas State University where he was a Yell Leader. He also attended Dodge City Community College. He had a passion for music and taught himself to play drums, guitar and piano. He was a member of several bands including Full Time Job, Christine, Mad Jack, The Mishaps and Blind Dog Alley. He loved pheasant hunting and fishing with family and was a Kansas City Royals fan. 

He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Dodge City. 

Survivors include: his parents, Dodge City; a sister, Traci Graves, Dodge City; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William D. Worthen and Virginia McMillin and Jack and Roberta Graves. 

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the First Assembly of God, Dodge City, with Rev. Ryan Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Visitation will be from noon to 8:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
