Norbert Feldt, 86, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

He was born May 22, 1929 at Park, Kansas, the son of Anton and Anna (Reinert) Feldt. A Dodge City resident since 1973, moving from Park, he was a farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 2955 both in Dodge City.

On May 15, 1951 he married Louise Goetz at Sacred Heart Church in Park.

Survivors include: his wife, Dodge City; 3 sons, Leon Feldt, Dodge City, Richard Feldt and wife Renee, North Richland Hills, Texas and Lloyd Feldt and wife Katie, Monroe, Iowa; 3 daughters, Kay Heier and husband Jim, Park, Norma Groth and husband Don, Buhler and Janese Williams and husband Darin, Canyon, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Patrice Feldt, Dodge City; 2 brothers, Pete Feldt and wife Margaret, Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota and Anthony Feldt, Park; a sister, Bette Younger, Ft. Collins, Colorado; 2 sisters-in-law, Margie Feldt, Grinnell and Lois Feldt, Garden City; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, D.J. Feldt, a daughter-in-law, Kim Feldt, 3 brothers, Jerome, Cletus and John “Jack” Feldt and 2 sisters, Anna Marie Huelsman and Teresa Benton.

Vigil service followed by Knights of Columbus rosary will be 7:30 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2016 both at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City, with Fr. Aneesh Parappanattu presiding. Inurnment will be 3:30 pm Friday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Park. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel.
