Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is nothing like opening the door of opportunity. That is what Dodge City High School teacher Dave Foster did when he sensed some of his students were getting the benefits of outdoor activities that he once had.

Thanks to a grant from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, hunting and fishing has become part of the Physical Education program at DCHS.

Now students are enjoying the rewards of these efforts.

Foster is eager at adding another component to these programs in future years.

Its not just limited to fishing.
