City, County Commissioners Schedule Meeting For Landbank Fund
The Garden City and Finney County Commissions Wednesday agreed to set up a landbank fund for dilapidated and rundown properties in the area designed with improving them for potential resale. A public hearing on the issue with both commissions is set for May 31st.
City Commissioners also agreed to allow use of fireworks within the city limits from June 27-July 5. There were few complaints from extending the window for pyrotechnics last year. Fireworks could not be set off beyond 10:30.
