M. Todd Steele, age 82, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on January 22, 1934 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Curtis Allen and Velma Ruth Armantrout Steele. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas he was a farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge #284, Scott City Shrine Club, Scott County VIP Center and Chairman of the Scott County VIP Dance all of Scott City, Kansas. He was also a member of the Kansas Cattleman’s Association and was a Cub Master and Scoutmaster of Troop 149.

On September 5, 1951 he married Donita Rae Unruh in Clayton, New Mexico. She passed away on April 17, 2008 in Scott City, Kansas. On October 2, 2008 he exchanged commitment vows with Dorothy Eleanor Higgins Milburn. She survives.

Survivors include his Companion – Dorothy Eleanor Higgins Milburn of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons – Mike & Sharri Steele of Scott City, Kansas, Pat & Jo Steele of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Keith & Linda Steele of Ulysses, Kansas, One Daughter – Peggy & Pat Pfannenstiel of Lawrence, Kansas, One Brother – Jack Steele of Tucson, Arizona, Ten Grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and wife – Donita.

Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church at Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 with Mike Steele and Pastor Scott Wagner officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Boy Scout Troop #149 or Gideons % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Inc.
