Martin grew up in Lubbock and moved to Garden City in 1958. He started working for Gifford-Hill building concrete pipes and then went to work for Bill Johnson doing truck maintenance. After that he was a longtime plumber for Johnson Septic Tank Service. His special love was his Grand-Children activities and also enjoyed Mexican music and watching western movies. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Son- Joe Franco, 1 Daughter- Victoria Franco, 3 Brothers- Armando, Lupe & Rafael & 3 Sisters- Elisa Lozoya, Inez Corpus & Juanita Valdez.
