ACLU: KS, TX Overstepped Authority on Restricting Abortion Providers
(westernkansasnews.com) A Supreme Court decision that struck down a Texas law may have far reaching consequences on women who seek an abortion. Micah Kubic is Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union in Kansas and explains why he feels why ultimately this impeded women from seeking needed health services.
Kubic believes abortion providers were singled out.
Kubic says Kansas had a similar law to that in Texas. Its unclear what action the legislature will take in light of this decision from the US Supreme Court.
