In Using Tasers, Police Have to Been Stunned by One
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The hope is police officers never have to use them, but there are rare occurrences where tasers are needed to subdue a suspect. Officer Chance Vigil is the one who trains GCPD on the use of tasers and he wants you to know there is one aspect of the training everyone must go through..getting tasered themselves.
Instructors have to attend a two day class on tasers and have to demonstrate they know enough to teach others its proper use.
