Mary C. Hoskinson, 72, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Shepherd’s Center, Cimarron. 

She was born November 18, 1943 at Garden City, the daughter of Clyde C. and Esther (Goodale) Smith. On October 1, 1961 she married Charles “Chuck” Hoskinson at Cimarron. She was a longtime Cimarron resident and a 1961 graduate of Ingalls High School. She farmed and owned and operated Chucks Bar & Grill with her husband until retiring in 1995. 

She was a member of the Cimarron Church of the Nazarene, Gray County Over 50 Center and enjoyed quilting. 

Survivors include: her husband of 55 years, Chuck, Cimarron; her son, Charlie and companion, Barbara Fleetwood, Dodge City; her daughter, Jacqueline Jambor, Lawrence, Kansas; 2 brothers, Tom Smith and wife Pam and John Smith and wife Mary all of Cimarron; 3 sisters, Peggy Toland, Cimarron, Helen Shriver, Mountainburg, Arkansas and Nancy Davis, Garden City; and 3 grandchildren, Dana O’Malley, Isaac Jambor and Calista Jambor. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Cimarron Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tom Boese officiating. Burial will follow in the Cimarron Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Cimarron. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Shepherd’s Center or the Gray County Over 50 Center both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, P. O. Box 446, Cimarron, Kansas 67835.
