Mary Lou graduated from High School at Montrose, Colorado. She attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver and received her Bachelor Degree in Education from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. She taught in Gunnison, Washington State, Russell before moving to Garden City in 1961 and teaching at Jennie Wilson Elementary School. She enjoyed reading, especially history and politics, and traveling. After retirement she volunteered at school, Fry Eye Clinic, Meals on Wheels and tutoring students. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband 2 Brothers- Lloyd Hauser & Ray Hauser & Son-In-Law Eric O’Hara.

The family will greet friends at Garnand Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday and then proceed to Valley View Cemetery for Graveside Services at 3:00 PM
