Richard Thomas White

Richard Thomas White, 81, of Liberal, passed away on February 13, 2017 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.  

He was born on April 6, 1935 to Elmo and Bertha (Arnold) White at Springfield, MO. 

Richard grew up in Springfield, MO and Escalon, CA. When he was young he worked in the fruit fields picking Grapes, Peaches and Strawberries. He later moved to Chicago, IL and then back to Springfield, MO. In 1968 he moved back to California where he lived until September 2016, when he moved to Liberal, KS to be with his brother Jerry. Richard loved cars and had worked as a Body Man in Auto Body Repair and he also enjoyed restoring antique cars.

Richard is survived by Two Brothers, Jerry White of Liberal, KS and Billy William White of Dickinson, TX. Several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

Memorial Services may be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
