Reva Jo Crues, 79, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born September 29, 1937 in Dumas, Texas the daughter of William Earl & Isabelle “Susie” (Breedlove) Kee.
Reva grew up in Electra, Texas where she attended schools and graduated from high school. On May 3, 1957, she married Tommy Ray Crues in Electra, Texas. They moved to Ralls, Texas shortly after their marriage. In January 1969 they moved to Garden City from Brownfield, Texas. Reva has lived in Garden City since. Reva worked for many years as the bookkeeper for Dave Crabb Electric. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and the Elks Lodge both of Garden City. Reva enjoyed shopping, playing bridge, square dancing, and camping.  
Survivors include a daughter Cathy & husband Craig Wheeler of Tyler, Texas; a son Mickey Crues of Holcomb, Kansas; two brothers Billy Kee of Holliday, Texas and John Kee of Irving, Texas; two sisters Lois Moore of Iowa Park, Texas and Velma Moore of Bowie, Texas; four grandchildren Jacob and wife Hannah Wheeler, Aaron Wheeler, Allison Crues, and Matthew Crues; and a great-granddaughter Adryanna Crues. Reva is preceded in death by her husband Tommy who died on April 4, 2014. She is also preceded in death by her parent and two brothers Aaron Kee and Troy Kee.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev. Randy Caddell officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Garnand Funeral Home, and the family will be at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday to visit with friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials given to the First Southern Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
