Tana (Roberts) Phillips
Tana (Roberts) Phillips, 64, died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
She was born August 28, 1952 at Scott City, the daughter of Wayne C. and Kathryn (Lane) Roberts. She was a graduate of Scott City High School and went on to college and attained her CNA. A area resident since 1970, moving from Scott City, she was a homemaker, caregiver and raised foster children.
She attended Grace Community Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
On September 27, 1969 she married Buck Phillips at Scott City.
Survivors include: her husband, Buck, Ensign; her 4 children, Shawna Phillips, Minneola, Travis Phillips, Ensign, Kent Mayfield, Denver, Colorado and James Phillips, Ensign; her mother, Kathryn, Scott City; 2 brothers, Gary Roberts and Major Roberts and wife Kelli all of Scott City; 5 grandchildren, Brooklyn Tolbert, Brett Phillips, Chandler Salmans, Jameson Phillips andtaigen Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Jay Roberts.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Rev. Kirk Larson officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott County Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel from 10:00 am to service time.
