Dodge City Testing Fire Hydrants

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Dodge City Fire Department is currently testing fire hydrants throughout the city. The testing should take ten weeks and be done in mid-July.

If people notice testing in their area and the water coming out of your faucet is rusty in color, allow the water to run until it is clear. The same applies for washing machines.

Testing is currently taking place around Soule St. to Comanche St. between 14th and Central Aves. and will continue to move south.

The testing schedule can found on the city website www.dodgecity.org on the front page under Spotlight.
