Wheatland Reports Power Being Restored in Affected Areas

Leoti, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A spokesperson with Wheatland Electric reports power has been restored to most residents Tribune, Syracuse and Leoti.  There are still some pockets of the coverage area without power.  

The main problem is with infrastructure damage.  Up to 100 poles were blown down in Wichita County.  Damage assessments continue throughout the area and then work will begin immediate to make repairs.
