Governor Candidate in SW KS Wednesday

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Former State Senator Dr. Jim Barnett  has announced he will officially be running for governor of Kansas again in the 2018 election. Barnett also ran in 2006. While in the Senate from 2001-2010 he represented the 17th district, which is centered in Emporia. He began a nine city announcement tour today and will be in three Southwest Kansas cities on Wednesday.
