GC Elementary School participating in NFL Play 60


Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Jennie Wilson Elementary School will hold its annual NFL Fuel Up To Play 60 Tailgating Activities on Friday, September 15th, from 1:10-3:40 p.m.  This is the seventh year that the school has participated in the nationwide program.

Students will participate in a relay course, football toss and various football drills.  There will also be discussion with the students about healthy snack choices.

Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by National Football League (NFL) and National Dairy Council (NDC), which was founded by America’s dairy farmers, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Fuel Up to Play 60 is designed to engage and empower youth to take action for their own health by implementing long-term, positive changes for themselves and their schools.
