Pedro Rodriguez running for GC City Commission

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) On election day November 7th Garden City will elect three Garden City Commissioners. Melvin Dale, Janet Doll and Chris Law’s seats are up for grabs. Dale is the only incumbent who has filed for re-election.

Pedro Rodriguez is seeking one of the seats. Rodriguez has a background in law enforcement he at one point served as the deputy sherriff in Wichita County. Rodriguez has also served as a two term city councilman when he lived in Iowa.

One of the things Rodriguez would like to see change is more diversity on the commission.

Rodriguez also touched on why he chose to run.
