Jetmore – Clayton Lavern Klein, 19, passed away October 7, 2017 at Kismet.

He was born June 15, 1998 in Garden City, the son of Keith Dale and Candice Dee Klein Koehn. A lifetime area resident, he was a welder and construction worker at Blattner Feedlot Construction and Livestock Equipment in Cimarron.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jetmore and the American Welding Association. He graduated with the class of 2016 from Hodgeman County High School.

Survivors include: father, Keith Koehn, Dodge City; mother, Candice (Tavo) Montes, Jetmore; brother, Erik Koehn, Jetmore; sister, Destiny Montes, Jetmore; Uncles, Curtis (Nicki) Klein, Maize, Chris (Staci) Klein, Jetmore; Aunts, Sheri (David) Berger and Machel Klein, both of Dodge City and Janice Koehn, Baton Rouge, LA; grandparents, Janice (Daniel) Baca, Jetmore and Floyd Koehn, Montezuma; Cousins, Teri (Steven) Gleason, Kaden Klein, Ian Klein, Alexis Klein, Blade Torline, Trace Klein, Brinkley Klein, Jonathan Klein, Nathan Klein and Jacquelin Koehn.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Elaine Koehn; grandfather, David Richard (Punkin) Klein; grandmother, Gladys Koehn and Aunt, Tona Koehn.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hodgeman County High School, Jetmore, with Rev. Rod McMillan and Rev. Kirk Larson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore. Family requests the public to wear casual attire.
