GC teachers working at McDonald’s for fundraiser Tuesday

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Teachers from Edith Scheuerman Elementary School and Garfield Early Childhood Center will be participating in McDonald’s McTeacher’s Night from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24th.

The staff from Garfield Early Childhood Center will be working at the East McDonald’s location at 1613 E. Kansas Plaza.  The teachers from Edith Scheuerman Elementary School will be working at the West McDonald’s location at 1106 North Taylor Avenue.

Staff members from each of the schools will be working in shifts during the event at the two locations in Garden City.  The staff will be on hand to greet customers and help out McDonald’s crew members during the evening.

The McDonald’s McTeacher’s Night program provides an opportunity for a school to raise funds.  A percentage of the sales from the event will be donated to the schools.
