GCCC kicks off annual Phone-A-Thon Monday night

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City Community College will begin their 38th annual phone a thon this evening from 6-9 p.m. For the next two weeks the phone-a-thon will be Monday through Thursday from 6-9 p.m. each night.

A different student group will make calls each night to get donations for scholarships for their program. The first group up tonight is the rodeo team. Other programs that will call over the next two weeks include the honor society, nursing program and welding among others. The goal is to raise $50,000 to help pay for next years scholarships.
