Governor Colyer Applauds Kansas House for Passing School Finance Fix

TOPEKA – On Saturday, the Kansas House of Representatives passed a fix to correct an  $80 million shortage in the school finance plan.

Governor Jeff Colyer, M.D. issued the following statement in response:
“I appreciate the House for working to quickly pass this fix to the error in the school funding bill. The school finance plan gets funding to the classroom, requires outcomes for schools and can be afforded without a tax increase. I hope to sign this bill next week.”
