U.S. 283 resurfacing starting in Ford and Clark counties

Crews are expected to begin a mill and overlay project on U.S. 283 from U.S. 54 in Minneola north to the U.S. 283/400/56 junction in Dodge City on Tuesday, July 31.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers and a pilot car.  KDOT urges drivers to pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
