Three suspects in custody for armed robbery at Ulysses convenience store

Ulysses, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection to an armed robbery at a Ulysses convenience store Saturday night.

The robbery occurred at 11:20 p.m. at the U-Pump It at 529 N. Colorado. According to the Ulysses Police Department preliminary information says that a subject entered with a weapon and demanded money. During the robbery a gunshot was fired, but no one was injured. The suspect’s identity was concealed by clothing and the suspect left the store on foot.

The names of the three suspects have not been released at this time and will be released pending the filing of formal charges.

The incident is being investigated by Ulysses Police with assistance from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
