One seriously injured in Ford County crash

FORD COUNTY — One person has suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening in Ford County.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m.on U.S. 54, 7.7 miles east of U.S. 283 when a 1999 Kenworth Semi driven by Singh Ranjit Brar, 36, of Beavercreek, Ohio was headed eastbound and went over the center line and struck a 2014 Freightliner Semi driven by Jasbir Singh, 52, of Fresno, California.

Singh was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City with suspected serious injuries. Brar had no injuries reported according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
