U.S. 83 mill and overlay project to move into Finney County

A mill and overlay project on U.S. 83 in Scott County is expected to move into Finney County on Tuesday, July 9. Crews will be working in the northbound lane for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers and a pilot car. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, and be prepared to stop. Shilling Construction Co. of Manhattan is the contractor on this $2.1 million project which is expected to be completed in July, weather permitting.
