SCHS Tennis second at Ulysses Invitational

Ulysses, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–In their final regular season meet, the Scott City girls tennis team had one final tuneup on Monday at the Ulysses Invitational, which was also tabbed as the unofficial GWAC meet.

Scott City would have a good day in Ulysses, finishing second as a team. Colby won with 35 points, while the Lady Beavers had 30.

Abbie LeBeau took home first place at No. 1 Singles, going 4-0 on the day. The No. 2 Doubles team of Sadie Hermosillo/Bella Myers also placed first. Placing second at No. 1 Doubles was Cynthia Gonzalez/Lanae Haupt, and at No. 2 Singles, Madison Westergard placed third. 

Up next for Scott City is the Class 3-2-1A Regional meet at Meade on Friday and Saturday.
