Scott City wrestling outlasts Lexington

Lexington, Neb. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City wrestling team made the trek to Nebraska on Friday, as they began their weekend in the Cornhusker state with a dual against Lexington. Scott City was able to pick up early wins, and win their first dual of the season, with a 42-27 win over the Minutemen.

They won nine of the 14 weight classes, and gave up two forfeits that resulted in 12 points for Lexington. 

The Beavers will stay in Lexington on Saturday for the annual John Higgins Invitational Tournament.
