Daphne C. Lane, age 41, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her home in Scott City, Kansas.  She was born on April 16, 1978 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Phil & Danna Brown Steffens.  A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a Secretary and Clerk.
 
She was a member the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas.
 
On July 18, 2009 she married Scott D. Lane in Scott City, Kansas.  He survives.
 
Survivors included her Husband – Scott Lane of Scott City, Kansas, Eight Children – Elijah Amack of Scott City, Kansas, Jaiden Amack of Scott City, Kansas, Micah Steffens of Scott City, Kansas, Zachery Steffens of Hays, Kansas, Chad Lane of Scott City, Kansas, Alicia & Mike Davis of Scott City, Kansas, Michelle Lane of Scott City, Kansas, Brock Lane of Scott City, Kansas, Parents – Phil & Danna Steffens of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother – Charles & Vicky Steffens of Scott City, Kansas, Two Grandmothers – Vicky Steffens of Scott City, Kansas and Phyllis Woodham of El Dorado, Kansas, Seven Grandchildren, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.
 
She was preceded in death by Two Grandfathers – Pete Steffens and Leo Brown.
 
Due to the current virus situation, Private Family Graveside services will be held
later this week with Rev. Jon Tuttle presiding. 
 
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. 
 
Memorials In Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Daphne Lane Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
 
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
