Western State Bank, GCCC Endowment Association hosting free hand cleanser drive-up event

Garden City, Kan. – Western State Bank and the Garden City Community College Endowment Association recently joined forces to offer free Boot Hill Distillery hand cleanser to the community.

The public is invited to claim a free 4-ounce bottle of cleanser during a drive-up event at Western State Bank, 1500 E. Kansas Ave., starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.

The event will continue as long as supplies last.

Attendees are asked to enter the parking lot from the west and stay in their vehicles as volunteers distribute the bottles, then continue to the southeast exit onto Pat’s Drive.

Volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves. To protect the volunteers, the public is encouraged to wear masks as well, if possible.

The hand cleanser was created by Boot Hill Distillery, which recently teamed up with several local partners to produce the World Health Organization’s recommended hand rub formula. The distillery is continuing production and anticipates producing more than 60,000 bottles of hand cleanser.
