Scott City Lady Beavers hold Basketball Camp
Scott City (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott Community High School Lady Beaver basketball team held their team basketball camp last Monday through Thursday in the SCHS gymnasium. Around 16 girls heading into their freshman through senior seasons attended the camp conducted by first year head coach Lori Oestreicher. She takes over for Mark Campos, who was the previous coach for three seasons. Girls were able to improve their fundamentals with drills throughout the week that went two hours each day.
Scott City finished the 2011-12 season 6-15 and will return three starters from last season’s team. The first game of the season will be Thursday, December 6.
