Hugoton Boys, Ulysses Girls Claim GWAC Cross Country Crowns
Colby, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Hugoton Boys and Ulysses Girls Cross Country Teams took the Great West Activities Conference Titles Saturday in Colby. Hugoton edged Ulysses in the boys meet by eight points, while Scott City was a distant third. The Lady Tiger girls ran away with the field, as they finished with 23 points. Holcomb came in a distant second with 68 points. All the GWAC Teams will compete in Regionals on Saturday. Colby, Goodland, Hugoton and Ulysses will be running in the 4A Regional in Buhler, while Holcomb and Scott City head to Cimarron for the Class 3A Regional.
