Busters Upset #7 Co-Lin Wolfpack to Win Mississippi Bowl Game-Audio
Biloxi, MS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – The Garden City Community College Football team won their 9th Football Bowl Game out of 20 Bowl appearances in the school’s history on Sunday afternoon in the 2012 Mississippi Bowl, beating the #7 Copiah-Lincoln Wolfpack 31-29 on a 32 yard field goal by freshmen kicker Tyler Peterson as time ran out. It was a battle of two extremely potent passing teams that had produced nearly 2900 yards on the season and again on Sunday, both quarterbacks produced some fantastic plays and big throws throughout the game.
