Just like game one, Lakin would jump out to the early lead, leading 2-0 after one inning, and tacking on five runs in the second and third innings to lead 12-1 after three innings. The Broncs would extend it to 15-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth, when Scott City’s offense came to life. They would score four runs, but left runners on base that would have extended the game. Lakin would collect 18 hits in the game, compared to four for the Lady Beavers. Darrie Rogers had four hits for the Lady Broncs, and having three each were Megan Armstrong, Mariah Watkins and Mariah Campbell. Scott City’s Kelsey Kuckelman had two hits.
