Commission Looks for Details on New Youth, Corrections Building

(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City, KS–The proposed ¼ penny sales tax extension to build a new youth services and community corrections building in Finney County is another step closer to going before the voters next March.  Monday the county commission asked that the plan include a full basement for more spacing and were given an anticipated cost of 6.5 million dollars. 

County Commissioners are also going to appear at the next Garden City commissioners meeting to ask that the city puts up a share of their tax for the project.  All the details need to finalized by December.
