Longtime Fort Hays State President Announces Retirement


 (westernkansasnews.com) Hays, KS–Fort Hays State University President Dr. Ed Hammond says he’ll retire by June. Hammond has been the university’s president since 1987 and is now the longest-serving president in the state university system.  Currently, Fort Hays State is the third fastest growing university in the country.  The school now has an overall enrollment of more than 13-thousand.
