GCCC men’s basketball out to 2-0 start
(westernkansasnews.com) Colby, KS–The Garden City Community College Men’s basketball team improved to 2-0 winning the second game of their trip to Colby beating Lamar (CO) JV 99-52.
Jade Cathey led four Broncbusters in double figures with 23 points. Miles Banks added 15 points and 8 rebounds. GCCC jumped out to a 17-2 lead over Lamar in the first five minutes and had a 12-0 run to begin the second half.
The Broncbusters host the Pepsi Classic next Friday when Kingdom Prep comes in. Tip-off is 7:30pm.
