Rosa Angelica Manzano

Rosa Angelica Manzano De Salinas, age 63, of Ulysses, Kansas passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born November 20, 1950 in Colonia Esperanza, Chihuahua, Mexico the daughter of Nazario and Romana C. Manzano. 

On November 22, 1975 she was united in marriage to Avelardo Salinas in Ulysses, Kansas. Rosa has lived in Ulysses, Kansas since 1969. Rosa was an incredible woman, a beloved wife who loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and was a member of Templo Nueva Vida Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Alvarado Salinas of Ulysses, Kansas; three children, Ervey Salinas of San Diego, California, Jonathan Salinas and wife Sheena of Wichita, Kansas, and Micah Salinas of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Corbyn Salinas, Aniston Salinas, Austyn Salinas, and Caleb McEachern; six brothers, Robert Manzano of Ulysses, Kansas, Juan Manzano of Ulysses, Kansas, Sam Manzano of Denver City, Texas, Javier Manzano of Denver City, Texas, Joe Manzano of Ulysses, Kansas, and Victor Manzano of OJ, Mexico; six sisters, Ester Morales of Denver City, Texas, Socorro M. Tijerina of Presidio, Texas, Amparo Nevarres of Denver City, Texas, Irene Gutierrez of Juarez, Mexico, Lucila Rodriguez of Lampasas, Texas, and Maria Elena Perez of Ulysses, Kansas. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nazario and Romana C. Manzano.

Visitation: 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, with a worship service beginning at 6:00 PM and from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses, Kansas. 

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor Hermando Ortiz officiating.

Interment: Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas.
