Funeral Service: 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 03, 2013 at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart, Kansas with Pastor Gary Murrell officiating.

Interment:ElkhartCemetery with military rites conducted.

Phillip D. Fink, age 86, ofElkhart,Kansasdied Thursday, November 28, 2013 atMortonCountyHospitalinElkhart,Kansas. He was born April 3, 1927 in Plevna,Kansasthe son of Chart and Leona (Schoor) Fink.

He went to school at Stonewall,Coloradoand atElkhart. He quit the semester of his junior year to help make a living for his family. He met Hadean Hull in the early 40’s. He served in the Army in 1945. While in the service he served as an M.P. and a prison guard. On September 13, 1954 he married Hadean Hull inClayton,New Mexico. Phillip worked as a local mechanic at theMinneapolisand Buick dealerships and was a fulltime farmer. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, NRA member, and lifetime member of VFW. Phillip was a good husband and a great father.

He is survived by his three children, Sarita S. Blakeley, Phillip John Fink and wife Linda, Salena Jane Hurn and husband Craig all of Elkhart, Kansas; two brothers, Harold (Dutch) Fink of Rye, Colorado, Kenneth (Jim) Fink of Elkhart, Kansas; sister, Dorothy Ann Farrington of Arlington, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hadean in 2008; son-in-law, Lindon Blakeley; great-grandson, Aidan Rey Renteria; brother, Robert (Bob) Fink; and sister, Charleen Blodgett.
