Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Cities and counties are both feeling the squeeze as the state holds on to 7.5 million dollars from the oil and gas depletion fund.  That program is designed to keep property taxes lower from falling valuation in energy producing counties of Kansas.  Garden City Manager Matt Allen knows the the fund’s importance.
