Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is concern Colorado’s soft stance allowing social use of marijuana could have an adverse effect on Kansas. Finney County Sheriff Kevin Bascue says at least for now his department will not change their approach in dealing with the drug.
Bascue believes Colorado’s lax attitude on marijuana use could lead to bigger problems later.
Bascue thinks it could take a year before evaluating whether Kansas law enforcement needs to do anything differently.
