Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) For parents of autism everyday can be a battle in finding the best care for their child. A bill in the legislature would expand health coverage for autism. State Representative Bud Estes says currently the state only takes 30 kids a year for its care facility and there is a long waiting list.
This bill is just the first step in making things easier for parents of an autistic child.
Estes is hopeful that the legislature will take action on this serious issue.
