Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is always a reason to do a test, so if something is wrong you can fix it. Its something Finney County Emergency Management Director Michael Paz-Torres discovered during last week’s statewide tornado drill that two sirens were not working correctly.
One bit of good news. Emergency management received the encouragement of broadening their disaster training exercise.
Paz-Torres says they did a multi-agency training last year and would be happy to do one again. Those drills typically take 12-18 months to plan.
