Pulling the Brakes for Now in their Fight Against Healthcare Reform


Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Fighting back, but is it the way to do it?  Republicans in the Kansas House have postponed a vote on joining a consortium of states intent on pulling away from the federal healthcare law.  Governor Sam Brownback is willing to explore all options, but stopped short in throwing his support of backing the consortium.

Republicans reportedly are concerned that joining the consortium would have an adverse effect on those receiving Medicare.
