Series of Finney County Burglaries Under Investigation
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Finney County sheriff’s department is investigating a string of burglaries over the last six months. The latest took place just last week. Sheriff Kevin Bascue says the area effected is north of Highway 50 and 156 from the Kearny County line to just west of Kalvesta. Deputies report up to $19,000 of batteries, scrap metal, tractor weights and metal pipes have been stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call (620) 272-3700.
