Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-There was definitely something different about Joaquin Padilla’s team on Tuesday. Besides the fact they scored nine more goals than in Monday’s loss to Hays, the Buffs had more life; more spring to their step. It proved to be the difference.

Amber Miller scored three goals and the Buffs out shot Great Bend 33-5 in a 10-0 at Buffalo Stadium.

Tiffany Butler got the Lady Buffs (5-3, 2-1) on the board early with an unassisted goal in the eighth minute. She would add another right before the half.

After Evenlyn Rodriguez’s goal made it 2-0 after nine minutes, Miller took over the game, netting three-straight goals; two of those less than 120 seconds apart.

Maria Rodriguez chipped in with a goal five minutes into the final half. Enneliesse Alcantar found the net 19 minutes later followed by goals by Cecilia Alvarez and Ashlee Richman, who started the game in the goalie box.
