One Group Calls For Legislature to Stop Backing Wind

Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is no shortage of wind in Southwest Kansas.  Take a look at all the wind farms in our region to know Kansas views wind as a great energy source, but is it viable? Christine Hansen with Americans for Prosperity does not think so…she says the legislature is using what is called the Renewable Portfolio Standards to prop up the industry at your expense.

Despite their best efforts the House approved keeping the mandate last week.  Still Hansen remains hopeful…
