Garden City’s Newest Power Play

Representatives of companies responsible for the Jameson Energy Center, along with officials from Garden City had a ribbon cutting Thursday giving the city their newest source for power.

Bob Poehling, General Manager of the Kansas Municipal Energy Agency believes this addition can fill a need.

Poehling says there is enough room to add two more turbines if they ever wanted to expand.
